Health & Safety Shouldn't Be Costly!
SUBSTANCE ABUSE ASSESSMENTS
Pulmonary Function Testing
Workers who inhale many types of dusts and other air contaminants can develop lung damage over time.
Pulmonary function testing helps measure how well a person moves air in and out of the lungs, and may detect breathing problems or changes in lung function, which is an important first step to early diagnosis or monitoring of preexisting health conditions.

Workplace Vision Screening
Vision screening in the workplace may be a requirement under some policies or a wellness initiative of some occupational health and safety programs. While vision screening cannot diagnose an issue, it can identify if a referral ophthalmologist or optometrist is needed for a more comprehensive eye exam. We assess the following during the screening process:
Near Vision
Color Vision
Depth Perception
Distance Vision
Peripheral Vision

Hearing loss is common on work sites where excessive or constant noise exposure exists. Hearing loss due to noise exposure can often slowly creep up on individuals as the loss is gradual, and is usually not recognized by the worker right away. Mobile hearing test uses an audiometer to compare hearing threshold levels. Changes in results over time can detect shifts in hearing acuity.

Mobile Drug & Alcohol Testing
Our team members are qualified and trained under the guidelines of 49 CFR Part 40 and are ready to be dispatched on a moment’s notice. We have our own MRO, and all samples are overnight shipped for confirmation to the only SAMHSA certified laboratory in Canada for workplace testing. Currently, we offer the following Drug & Alcohol testing modalities:

Instant Urine
Instant Saliva
Lab Based Urine
Lab Based Saliva
Breath Alcohol

Mobile Mask Fit
Qualitative Mask Fit
This mask fit test is a pass/fail test method that uses a taste test to determine if leakage exists with a respirator or mask.
Quantitative Mask Fit
This mask fit test uses a portacount device to measure the amount of leakage around the face seal indicated by a numerical value called a “fit factor.”

Hearing Protection Fit Testing
Hearing Protection Fit Testing measures the quantity of noise reduction that hearing protection provides while being worn by an employee. This is referred to as a “Personal Attenuation Rating” or PAR. Counseling and a report will be provided to each employee following the assessment.

Hearing Protection Fit Testing is completed in approximately 5-8 minutes and evaluates the fit of both custom, and in-ear store purchased earplugs (see 'video demo'). This method of testing removes any subjectivity and determines if the noise reduction provided is sufficient considering the work environment.
